Which rimfire?

Postby pointblank » Thu Aug 21, 2008 8:42 pm

Many of BBE are experts in this, so I am going to ask advice here.

Decades ago I got rid of almost all my gear. I would like to pick up target shooting again. Which .22 rifle would be suitable? I would like to buy something decent, so the limiting factor would be me, not the gear.
I still have an air rifle and a remington rimfire, but the last does not have an adjustable dove tail and I can't attach a scope.

Great to hear you're getting back into target shooting, PB. :smt023
I'm afraid I can't help with advice on rifles for target shooting as I'm into pistol shooting.
Visiting a club and looking to see what others are using would be my first suggestion. I don't know what disciplines are shot with .22 rimfires.

This rarely updated website might help a little.

Let's know how you get on with your return to shooting sports. :)

I'm pretty sure you can do bench rest with a .22 rimfire.
